Erika Jensen-Jarolim, Prof., MD., Chief Scientific Officer of biomed - Biomedical International R+D Gmbh, takes the responsibility for directing the topics and the design of the different research programs. Her research is innovative and interdisciplinary, and overall dedicated to the improvement of diagnosis and therapy for the sake of patients. Herbert Houf, MBA, Chief Financial Officer, takes care for economics in biomed - Biomedical International R+D Gmbh. Being executive director of HOUF autiding and tax advisor firm his motto is "building trust" and "building vision". Besides his operative duties, he is member of the senate for commercial law and revision, as well of the senate of tax law in Austria, and he is active in teaching at the academy of chartered accountants.

Krisztina Szalai

Krisztina Szalai, MD.Sci., MSci. was born in Györ/Hungary and studied biology at the University of Pécs/Hungary, but acquired her diplom thesis at the University Vienna. She started in 2003 to work in the research group of Prof. Erika Jensen-Jarolim at the Institute of Pathophysiology and Allergy Research, Medical University of Vienna with the project "Allergen mimotopes for prophylaxis, therapy and diagnosis of allergy". In August 2008 she defended her dissertation with excellency in the new study program of Medical Doctor of Science (Dr. Med. Sci.). She is today an expert in mimotope technology as can be seen from her CV and publication record (LINK Medline).

Anna Maria Willensdorfer

Anna-Maria Willensdorfer was born in Vienna and passed with merit her professional training as Chemotechnical Assistant in June 2009 at the Technical College of Chemistry in Rosensteingasse, Vienna. She joined the biomed - Biomedical International R+D Gmbh team in May 2010.

Kathrin Thell

After completing her BMA diploma with excellency at the Academy of Biomedical Sciences in Vienna, Kathrin Thell continued with studies in Molecular Biology at the University of Vienna. In September 2010 she joined the biomed - Biomedical International R+D Gmbh team to work on her diploma thesis in the research group of Prof. Erika Jensen-Jarolim at the Institute of Pathophysiology and Allergy Research, Medical University of Vienna. Kathrin Thell will concentrate on studying the efficacy of mimotope vaccines in tumor models.
